Memory Stones

Each of our Memory Stones is a naturally formed river stone with a carved heart, individually hand-painted with delicate forget-me-nots, a flower long associated with remembrance. The stone can be personalised with a name of your choice, creating a simple and lasting reminder of someone who will always be remembered.

Because every stone is natural, no two are ever the same. Each has its own shape, colour and markings, so the stone you receive will vary from those shown in our photographs. These differences are not imperfections; they are part of what makes your stone unique.

A Memory Stone can become part of a special place: amongst the flowers someone loved, beneath a tree planted in their memory, or in a favourite corner of the garden. It can also be placed above one of our biodegradable Calabash urns, so that as the urn returns to the earth, the stone remains as a lasting reminder.

Memory Stones can also be made in memory of a much-loved pet, with a pawprint painted alongside the forget-me-nots and your pet’s name.

Each stone is painted with weatherproof paint and finished with a UV-protective varnish, so it can be left outdoors. As with any painted item exposed to the elements, we recommend recoating every few years to keep it looking its best.
